The Prayer Center is a cooperative ministry of Ogden Memorial United Methodist church and the
Madisonville District of the United Methodist Church. This District encompasses eight counties in
western Kentucky, and includes 76 churches.

As Methodists, we believe in Christ’s universal church. That is, recognizing Jesus Christ as Savior is
what binds us together as His universal church, not the denominational name of a body of believers.
Therefore, the Prayer Center is here as a ministry to all churches and all people, regardless of
denomination.

With this thought in mind, we pray that the Prayer Center will be used as a catalyst to begin to
answer the only unanswered prayer of Jesus:“Father, I pray that they may be one.” This is a prayer
that only our churches can answer, and we believe that answer can be found only in prayer.

The Prayer Center is open from 10 am to 3pm, Monday - Friday and Tuesday nights from 6pm - 9pm. Kathy and Christy alternate days of ministering at the Prayer Center, and Rocky and Luisa Sears minister every Tuesday night.
