Children
During the school year on Wednesdays we have an after school program. We pick up children from school, and when they arrive they have a full afternoon of activities planned. There’s fun, friendships, and a chance to meet and grow in Jesus—weekly. This program is called FaithWeaver Friends and it gives the children an opportunity to grow, deepen relationships, and evangelize in different ways. It regularly brings children face-to-face with Jesus!
Also during Wednesday afternoon activities the children have the opportunity to be involved in Music Ministry. This involves Rainbow Bells and Orff (percussion ensemble).
Wednesdays
3:00 pm - FaithWeaver Friends & Music Ministry (K- 5th Grade)
5:30 pm - Fellowship Meal
There are also Sunday School classes on Sunday morning (9:30 am) for every age to bring them into a fuller understanding of who God is. Children’s Sunday School classes are on the third floor at the end of the hallway.
During the summer, Ogden unites with several churches in the community to organize a three-day, outdoor, hands-on ministry (”Marketplace”) where the events of the Bible come alive for children. The Bible is covered on a six-year schedule. Marketplace 2008 covered Jesus: The Importance of Love. We are excited about next years theme of the early church.
