Meghan" src="http://www.ogdenmumc.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/dsc01323-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" />My name is Meghan, and I have been a member of Ogden MUMC for my whole life.  I grew up on a small dairy farm in Caldwell County in the middle of no where. I have an amazing family that I love and want to be around all the time! I am a recent graduate of Asbury College(2007), majored in Missions, and minored in Bible & Theology and English as a Second Language, and now I have returned back at Ogden (January 2008). 

Here at Ogden I find myself often overwhelmed that God has called me to this job.  But I keep hear Him tell me am equipped.  So I am here seeking after God and trust that He is going to work through me.  My heart is that of Moses crying out in intercession: 

Moses said to the Lord, “See, you have said to me, ‘Bring up this people’; but you have not let me know whom you will send with me.  Yet you have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found favor in my sight.’  Now if I have found favor in your sight, show me your ways, so that I may know you and find favor in your sight.  Consider too that this nation is your people.”  He said “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” And he said to him, “If your presence will not go, do not carry us up from here.  For how shall it be known that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people, unless you go with us?  In this way, we shall be distinct, I and your people, from every people on the face of the earth.” The Lord said to Moses, “I will do the very thing that you have asked; for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”  Moses said, “Show me your glory, I pray.” and he said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim before you the name, ‘The Lord’; And I will gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”         Exodus 33:12-19

I don’t want to move until God has called me to.  It’s all in vain if He is not present in my ministry. I am just trusting that He is going to guide me and that I just have a wait on Him to move.  

So with all that said . . . I’m in charge of making sure all the children’s ministries run smoothly and empowering leadership within those ministries.  As far as youth goes, I’m the youth director and organize the youth ministries with the help of the youth Council.  

I’m also suppose to be developing gift based ministries here at Ogden.   I’m in the process of putting together a ministry book that describes every ministry that a person can get involved in at Ogden.
