Gather up all good and usable household items you would like to donate and bring them to the church by Friday, August 1, and the truck from the Methodist Mountain Mission will be coming to take them to their store in Jackson, Kentucky.
They request that donations be in boxes for better stacking in the truck and for reuse of the boxes at the store.
Items desperately needed are women’s summer clothes, linens, dishes, pots & pans, knick knacks, good usable furniture & electrical appliances, other household items, material, underwear, purses & shoes.
They also need store supplies, including large safety pins, bleach, laundry detergent, toilet paper, garbage bags, and packaging tape.
They request that no hymnals, encyclopedias, wire hangers or gas appliances be sent.
If you have any questions, call Betty at the church office.
