Sunday, April 26 will be Melissa McDaniel’s last Sunday as our pianist.  We appreciate her gift of music and her dedication to Ogden.
We will miss her, but we wish her well as she continues to use her gifts and talents in service to others.
Thanks again, Missy, and God bless.

We put together 50 Easter baskets this year, and we couldn’t have done it without your help.  Thank you so much for your generous donations of candy.  This is something we always enjoy.  We’re looking forward to next year.

April 25, 2009
8:00 a.m. in Baker Hall

All men are invited to come.

Assuming it takes you two minutes to read this, 36 children under the age of five will have died by the time you have finished. 36 CHILDREN. And those deaths are from hunger, poverty, and hunger-related diseases – all completely preventable. The good news is that our youth group has decided to do something about it: World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine.
The problem is huge, but the solution is not. Just $30 a month –roughly $1 a day – can help feed and care for a child in most developing countries.
As students go 30 hours without food this weekend, they’ll get a taste of what it’s like to be hungry, all the while reaching out to others in need. And as they do that, their compassion will grow: for people around the world, and right here at home.
Please help our youth group by:
Praying for the famine participants, and for those they’re working to save.
Supporting famine participants with a donation. It’s through your gifts that lives are changed forever.
Remember, Saturday afternoon we will have our canned- goods scavenger hunt!  Be on the look-out and have your cans ready.
The youth will begin fasting after lunch on Friday. They need to be at the church at 6:30 p.m. Friday night and the fast will end at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.  Permission forms must be signed and returned.
Thanks, and God bless!
Meghan
