Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to Bro. David and his family in the passing of his dad, J. D. Oaks. Please keep them in your prayers.

Valentine Prayer Hearts

Every child in our ministry will print his or her first name on a heart, decorating it and then placing a magnet on the back of it. Today, children will be at the doors with these hearts in baskets asking you to take one as you leave. We would like for you to place it on your refrigerator to remind you to pray for this child for the rest of the school year. Please take this opportunity to get involved and pray for our children.

Heart-Felt Thanks

We have put up a “Heart-Felt Thanks” wall in the basement hallway. This is a way that we can share our love for the people who serve us or serve at our church. Be sure to stop by and take a heart from the basket and write the person’s name on it that you want to thank and also your name. You can put a short message on the bottom of the heart, if you like. Then tape it up on the wall. Our goal is to have the wall filled with hearts by the end of the month. Be sure to express your thanks to someone this love season.

Blood Drive

The WKRBC will hold their blood drive Thursday, Feb. 19 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Baker Hall. This is a replacement drive in honor of Kenneth Phelps who was seriously injured in a hunting accident in November. The family has set a personal goal of obtaining 100 units of blood. Please come and donate blood this Thursday.

Marketplace

There will be a Marketplace Leadership meeting on Monday, February 23, at 5:00 p.m. Please be in prayer about these positions that God would raise up the right people for the right jobs. This year we will be studying the early church focusing on the coming of the Holy Spirit and the events in Acts.

Heart-Felt Thanks
Valentine’s day is approaching fast.  (By the way for these guys who have girls friends, Valentine’s Day is February 14th.)
Here at Ogden we have put up a “Heart-Felt Thanks” wall.  This is a way that we will be sharing our love for the people who serve us or serve at our church.
Be sure to stop by the wall Sunday morning or Wednesday afternoon.  Take a heart from the basket and write the person’s name whom you want to thank on it and your name.
You can also put a short message on the bottom of the heart.  Then be sure to tape it up on the wall.
Our goal is to have the wall filled with hearts by the end of the month!  Be sure to express your thanks to something this love season!
