Give blood! You might just save someone’s life.

Mark your calendar to join a fun outing on Tuesday, September 29, 2009!  We are off to beautiful Lake Barkley Lodge to eat their delicious lunch buffet and then play Bingo.  The cost of the buffet is $7.95, and there is no charge to play Bingo.  We will meet at the church at 10:30 a.m. and leave the parking lot at 10:45 a.m.  The buffet begins at 11:30 a.m., and Bingo begins at 1:00 p.m.  We should return to the church about 3:00 p.m.
The leaves on the trees may be turning fall colors then, so our view from the dining room should be spectacular.  Please call the church office (365-3528) to sign up for the great day of food, fellowship, and to see who is lucky at Ogden.  Questions?  Call Marty Presler (365-9881).

The Seekers Sunday School Class (Teacher-Michael Brown)  has started a new study of the book, “Fatal Distractions,” by Ed Young.
The book’s description states, “In today’s pop culture the term “sin” is not very popular.  Instead, we are classified as victims of dysfunction who make ‘mistakes’ and ‘bad choices’…But the bible gives a very different message–we have a serious sin problem that will destroy our lives from the inside out.  The good news is that Christ offers a solution to the battle from within.  We don’t have to be victims.  Instead, He can turn our lives away from these ‘Fatal Distractions”.
